PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for measuring perimeter of a mold dram capable of improving measuring frequency and precision without elongation of working hours for molding a raw tire. SOLUTION: The device for measuring perimeter of the mold dram composed of a contact type perimeter measuring device 2 and≥1 non-contact type displacement measuring devices 3 opposing to the outer periphery surface of the mold dram 1, where in a sectional area perpendicular to the center axis of the dram of the form 1, the center axis lines of the non-contact type displacement measuring devices 3 are arranged while being made to intersect with the center axial line of the molding dram.
