SHEET TYPE ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet type electrolytic capacitor in which packaging area of the peripheral circuit of an IC is increased so that a high capacity low ESL capacitor can be connected in close proximity to the IC. SOLUTION: A cathode sheet 8 having a cathode electrode foil 9 bonded to one surface and an anode sheet 11 having an anode electrode foil 12 bonded to one surface are arranged oppositely and a separator 13 impregnated with driving electrolyte is interposed between. It is then sealed and the cathode sheet 8 and the anode sheet 11 are bonded integrally to produce a sealing sheet 14. Since electricity can be fed directly from the cathode/anode sheets 8 and 11 to the cathode/anode electrode foils 9 and 12, ESR and ESL are reduced and overall thickness of a product can be reduced.
