<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crown-shaped holder for a rolling bearing capable of preventing the generation of holder sound and improving acoustic durability, by suppressing self-induced vibration amount and adhering a suitable amount of lubricant to a rolling element at the all time, and a rolling bearing. <P>SOLUTION: Each pocket 4 of a crown-shaped holder comprises at least a pair of flat side surfaces 10a, 10b oppositely provided at inner surface positioned sliding in a revolving direction of the rolling element, a flat bottom surface 12a provided on a pocket bottom existing in one side in an axial direction of the pocket, a pair of pocket hooks 14, 14 oppositely provided in a circumferential direction in the other side in the axial direction of the pocket, and an opening P provided between the pair of the pocket hooks so as to oppose to the flat bottom surface and having a diameter smaller than that of the rolling element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
