摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the detection of a cut image with high accuracy being 1-frame accuracy and to detect the image at a high speed. SOLUTION: A simple decoding processing section extracts average component data from a received frame image to generate a simple full size decoded image or an optional sized reduction image and it is stored in an internal memory 4. Furthermore, when an input image is an image subjected to compression coding and inter-frame coding, motion compensation is conducted from preceding and succeeding coded image by a motion compensation processing section 5, resulting data are outputted to an image display section 7 and to a 2nd memory 9 and a cut point detection section 8. The cut point detection section 8 calls the frame image decoded precedingly from the 2nd memory and extracts a required characteristic quantity in the case of cut point detection to detect a cut point and in the case of a cut point image, data are outputted to a cut image storage section 11 and a cut image display section 12.</p>
