PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making apparatus for opening/closing a door body, which exerts the unprecedented effect of action. SOLUTION: This apparatus for opening/closing the door body 2, which is installed in a water flow passage 1 for allowing the passage of flowing water such as river water and seawater and which can inhibit the passage of the water by closing the passage 1, is equipped with a vertical movement cylinder device 3 for moving the door body 2 up and down in a vertical direction, and a swing cylinder device 4 for swinging the door body 2 in a front/rear direction. The door body 2 is moved upward by the cylinder 3, and swung forward by the cylinder device 4, so as to be put into an opened state.
