PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform color conversion near a color gamut boundary. SOLUTION: The color conversion table stores the first color conversion result for converting an inputted chrominance signal into a color-reproducible chrominance signal and the second color converted result for converting the inputted color signal into a color-unreproducible chrominance signal, and color conversion is accurately performed to accurately keep a corresponding relation with the inputted chrominance signal even in a gamut exceeding a color-reproducible range of a printer or a display.
