<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal digital assistant which is able to cope with various user interfaces by realizing uniform operability independent of the direction of display on a card. <P>SOLUTION: This personal digital assistant, into which a card where graphics, symbols, character strings and numerals or the like are displayed is inserted, comprises a storage means for storing information associated with the operation of the personal digital assistant corresponding to the display of the graphics, symbols, character strings and numerals or the like, a reading means for reading the operation information from the storage means, an input means for receiving an operation input from a user for each display, a control means for controlling the operation of the personal digital assistant based on the operation input and the control information, a display means for executing display based on the operation, a card direction deciding means for deciding the direction of the card based on the display and a display information converting means for converting the direction of the display by the display means so that the direction of the card can be matched with the direction of the display by the display means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
