<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system that controls a power supply device having operating functions. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply device supplies an output current to an integrated circuit provided with at least one circuit block that is controllable by an enable signal or a clock signal. Its receiving portion receives the enable signal. In order that the power supply device preemptively varies the output current, its control portion determines the loading state of at least one circuit block as a function of the enable signal or the clock signal.
