<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable communication apparatus which is excellent in operability when a call function is used. <P>SOLUTION: An upper unit 200 with a display 202 is connected to a lower unit 100 so as to be rotatable and opened/closed via a hinge 300. A first speaker 203 is provided on an end side, and second speaker 230 is provided on a hinge side, respectively, with a display unit sandwiched on the inner surface of the upper unit, and a microphone 103 is provided on the end side of the lower unit. When the display unit of the upper unit is closed so as to face the outside; the second speaker 203 functions as a receiver, the microphone 103 functions as a transmitter, and a call can be made when the apparatus is in a closed state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
