PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video image providing service which is efficient for both a user and an entrepreneur. SOLUTION: The user carries a user medium 2 around in a facility in a theme park etc. Position data and time data are written into the user medium 2 according to the actions of the user. Photographing is always performed by photographing devices 3α, 3βand 3γwhich are installed in each of places in the facility, and photographed video images are stored in a video image producing apparatus 1. When the user wants to be provided with pictures or video images of himself/herself, the user makes the apparatus 1 read the data of the user medium 2 when leaving the facility. The apparatus 1 extracts the video images of the user from the stored video images on the basis of the read data from the user medium, and produces video images to be provided to the user. Then, the produced video images are recorded in a portable recording medium such as a disk, a memory card or a magnetic tape and the recording medium is delivered to the user, or are distributed to the user via a communication line.
