ARYLAMINE COMPOUND AND ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE DEVICE CONTAINING THE SAME

Novel arylamine compound of specified structure having at least one spiro bond. There is provided an organic electroluminescence (EL) device comprising a negative electrode and a positive electrode and, interposed therebetween, one or multiple organic compound layers including at least a luminescent layer, wherein at least one of the organic compound layers contains the above arylamine compound, or contains the arylamine compound together with a luminescent material, or wherein the organic compound layers include a laminate of a hole transport layer containing the arylamine compound and a luminescent layer composed of a phosphorescent metal complex and a host material. The organic EL device exhibits high luminance, high thermal stability, prolonged operating life, excellent hole transport and high luminous efficiency. The novel arylamine compound realizes the organic EL device.
