New supplements are based on food plants. These are extracts, in solid or liquid form. They are alternatively powders formed by plant dehydration. They are selected in accordance with their triple-antioxidant properties. Food supplements with an active triple antioxidant capacity determined by measuring their potential as: anti-lipoperoxide-, anti-hydrogen peroxide- and anti xanthine-oxidase agents. They are given to humans and animals in solid or liquid form (e.g. as: tablets, powders, gels, aqueous solutions or ampoules). |
