FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out ultrasonic duplex scanning with energy-oriented mapping of blood circulation. Ultrasonic duplex scanning with energy-oriented mapping of blood circulation in V3 segment is carried out in prone position using front as support. Ultrasonic transducer is arranged between dorsal surface of sternocleidomastoid muscle and spinal processes of the first cervical vertebra in a way that scanning plane is drawn in parallel to inferior edge of occipital bone. Then the transducer is turned clockwise and arranged between inferior edge mastoid process of occipital bone and transverse process of the second cervical vertebra in a way that scanning plane is drawn in perpendicular to inferior edge of occipital bone. ^ EFFECT: objective visual evaluation of arterial blood circulation. ^ 6 dwg
