PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant chemical-resistant continuous fiber nonwoven fabric having excellent dimensional stability, to provide a method for producing the nonwoven fabric, and to provide a fiber material using the nonwoven fabric. SOLUTION: The continuous fiber nonwoven fabric mainly composed of polyphenylene sulfide is provided, nonwoven fabric having excellent heat resistance and chemical resistance and being produced by a method of directly spinning from a polymer mainly composed of polyphenylene sulfide, wherein the method includes a simple step of spinning and drawing the fiber in one step to form a continuous fiber nonwoven fabric.
