PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately inspect the delivery circumstances for all nozzles of a functional liquid discharge head.

SOLUTION: The droplet discharge apparatus 1 performs a plotting operation of discharging functional liquid droplets from a functional liquid droplet discharge head 51 and an imaging operation of imaging the flight state of the functional liquid droplets discharged from the respective nozzles 75. The droplet discharge apparatus 1 is provided with an image-forming means 5 for imaging a number of nozzles 75 of a nozzle array 74 in a unit of a plurality of numbers of nozzles 75, a movement means 13 for relatively moving the functional liquid droplet discharge head 51 with respect to the image-forming means 5 so that the large number of nozzles 75 of the nozzle array 74 are successively imaged in a unit of the plurality of nozzles 75 by the image-forming means 5 and a rotation means 43 for rotating the functional liquid droplet discharge head 51 with respect to the moving direction of the movement means 13 in the horizontal surface so that the column direction of the nozzle array 74 becomes parallel to the moving direction of the movement means 13.
