PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion apparatus for producing less NOx during combustion. SOLUTION: The combustion apparatus comprises an injection nozzle 13 for supplying fuel to a combustion chamber 12 where flames are propagated in one direction for combustion and a plurality of porous pipes 11 provided in the combustion chamber 12 across the propagating direction of the flames and arranged along the propagating direction of the flames and having through-holes 19 each communicating the inside with the outside for supplying air to the combustion chamber 12. The fuel is supplied from the injection nozzle 13 into the combustion chamber 12 and the air is supplied from the plurality of porous pipes 11 via the through-holes 19 into the combustion chamber 12.
