METHOD OF INCREASING SURVIVABILITY OF GAS TURBINE ENGINE COMBUSTION CHAMBER

FIELD: heating systems. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of increasing survivability of gas turbine engine combustion chamber is based on restoration of serviceable condition of combustion chamber after it has been damaged due to destruction means. The method consists in the fact that damage results of combustion chamber housing are eliminated by automatic covering the breaks with protection rotary screen preventing ejection of flame and outflow of hot gaseous combustion products to engine section. Sharp temperature increase due to gas outflow through breaks in combustion chamber housing is recorded with thermocouples installed in engine section. Signal is supplied to control unit of drive of gear wheel and protection rotary screen and it is turned through specified angle. ^ EFFECT: increasing survivability of combustion chamber at impact of fragments of destruction means. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg
