PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device capable of absorbing the deviation and rattling of a mounting position even if the positioning of a support tool is not exactly set, mounting the support member at an optional position/angle and not imparting beautiful appearance. SOLUTION: The support device of interior equipment for an automobile is provided with a plurality of support receiving members 10 mountable at an optional position of a wall surface in a vehicle baggage chamber having a projection 10a with a spherical outer surface; and an expandable/contractable support member 20 having engagement parts 23 pivotably engaged with the projections 10a of the support receiving member 10 at both ends. A recess 23c covering the spherical projection 10a of the support receiving member 10 and having a spherical inner surface is formed on the engagement part 23 of the support member 20.
