PURPOSE: An apparatus for monitoring a column address is provided to monitor the repair column address with only enabling the y repair enable signal in place of scanning the y address after the y repair enable signal is enabled. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for monitoring a column address includes a fuse enable control block(310), a plurality of fuse boxes(321-324) and a plurality of address monitoring units(331-334). The fuse enable control block(310) receives the block address signal to enable by the unit of x-block and outputs the y repair enable signal in response to the state of the inner fuse and the block address signal. The plurality of fuse boxes(321-324) generates the y fuse signals in response to the y repair start signal, the control of the block address signal and the y repair enable signal and the set of the inner fuse. The plurality of address monitoring units(331-334) recognizes the repair column address monitor test mode by the fuse test mode signal. And, the plurality of address monitoring units(331-334) outputs the signal representing whether the column address which is accessed by the y fuse signal is the repair column address or not.
