PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylysine forming residual of deposited materials on keratinous materials, in particular on the hair, imparting excellent cosmetic properties to keratinous material, in particular to the hair such as softness, smoothness, and more excellent ease of raveling tangles. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the cosmetic use of poly-N-α- and N-ε-lysine and ornithine derivatives containing a thiol functional group.
