DISINFECTION METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR LIQUID AND SOLID OBJECT TO BE TREATED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high disinfective effect even at a lower temperature and in a shorter time than previously in a method for disinfecting liquid and solid substances by using a pressurized carbon dioxide.

SOLUTION: An alcohol is added to a liquid object to be treated and a carbon dioxide of a prescribed quantity is absorbed into the liquid substance mixture to be treated when the object to be treated is a liquid. After the liquid object to be treated is disinfected, by holding the liquid object to be treated at a prescribed temperature for a prescribed time, the liquid object to be treated is recovered by discharging the carbon dioxide by quickly decompressing the liquid substance mixture to be treated.
