<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which can confirm connection of a cable accurately and in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: A diagnostic device 1 makes a normal path in a control unit 3 open for traffic by opening a counter MMU port inside the control unit 3 using a diagnostic path 101 to the control unit 3, makes a normal path in a memory unit open for traffic by opening a counter RCU port and a counter CPU port inside the memory unit 4 using a diagnostic path 102 to the memory unit 4, and makes a normal path in an arithmetic unit 3 of an arithmetic unit group 2 open for traffic by opening a counter MMU port inside the arithmetic unit inside the arithmetic unit group 2 using a diagnostic path 103 to the arithmetic unit group 2.
