PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level which can adjust the inclination of a particular position in one sitting and also can intuitively decide how to make adjustment to level. SOLUTION: The level comprises plural inclination sensors 2, 3 which measure the inclination of the plural axes; a RAM 6 which stores specified inclination data; a display 7 which displays images. By comparing the output data of the inclination sensors 2, 3 with the data stored in the RAM 6, and based on the comparison result, a circle representing the specified inclination data and a "×" mark 10 representing the output data of the inclination sensors 2, 3 are displayed on the display 7.
