PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which carries out a precise surface treatment to a channel inner wall face without affecting a discharge opening face and the like other parts in the case of carrying out a desired surface treatment to a channel inner wall of a liquid discharging head. SOLUTION: To an assembly with channels and discharge openings obtained in a process of manufacturing the liquid discharging head, in a state in which a liquid including a medium material is filled in the channels, light irradiation is carried out, thereby substituting atoms and atomic groups between a material which composes the channel inner wall face and the medium material.
