ADDITIVE FOR OPTICAL RESIN AND OPTICAL RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive for optical resin scarcely dropping off a binder resin layer or resin base or the like even in case of considering optical applications, and exerting uniform optical diffusivity and high planar light emissivity with no luminance unevenness, and to provide an optical resin composition comprising the additive and a transparent resin and exerting very high performance in optical properties including no luminance unevenness and planar light emissivity when used in optical applications.

SOLUTION: The additive for optical resin comprises organic/inorganic composite particles having a structure including an organic polymer skeleton and a polysiloxane skeleton as the essential skeletons. The optical resin composition comprises the additive and a transparent resin.
