<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device capable of keeping the life of a discharge lamp for a long period of time even if daytime lighting is carried out. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge lamp lighting device is provided with a discharge lamp 20 which is lighted with a brightness corresponding to a power supplied and a discharge lamp lighting control device 10 which, when a signal expressing switch ON state is received from a first switch SW1 only, makes carry out a daytime lighting that, after making emit the discharge lamp 20 by a first power, maintains the lighting by a second power smaller than the first power, and, when a signal expressing switch ON is received from a second switch SW2 only, makes carry out a night lighting that, after emitting the discharge lamp 20 by a third power greater than the first power, maintains the lighting by a fourth power smaller than the third power and greater than the second power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
