Combination of catechin and quercetin for pharmaceutical or dietary use

A composition for pharmaceutical or dietary use possessing antioxidant activity and characterized in that it contains as the active principle a combination of catechin and quercetin, which may be derived from Vitis vinifera, in a molar ratio in the range of between about 6:1 and 3:1 respectively. The composition is formulated for use in the treatment and prevention of cardiac and circulatory disorders, for improving cerebral functionality and for the treatment and prevention of cellulite, skin ageing and hair loss.
