PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively interpose a valve in a pipeline. SOLUTION: A straight pipe 1 having a socket 2 one one end and a spigot 3 on the other end is formed as a valve casing, and a valve structure is constituted in the valve casing. The valve is composed of a valve stem 9 penetrating through the straight pipe 1 and a valve element 10. Mounting seats 4a and 4b are integrally arranged on an outer peripheral surface of the straight pipe, and the valve stem 9 reaches both mounting seats, a rotational driving means composed of a worm gear mechanism is fixed to one of the mounting seats, and a cover 27 having a bearing of the valve stem is fixed to the other mounting seat. When this straight pipe with the valve is formed as a part of a pipe forming the pipeline, the pipeline interposed with the valve can be provided. This work is easier and more inexpensive than conventional work for interposing the valve by cutting the straight pipe. The straight pipe is easily painted since an inner surface becomes a smooth surface having no recessed peripheral groove, and thus, sealability with the valve element can be easily provided.
