PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent ingestion regulator which is useful as a prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for an ingestion trouble and a prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for obesity. SOLUTION: A method/a kit for screening a compound for promoting or inhibiting activity of a peptide, a protein, etc., are provided. The ingestion regulator is obtained by the screening.
