Installed between the telephone transmitter case (2) and the hinge main body (5) are a first rotation-urging means (not shown) for urging the hinge main body (5) to rotate to the initial position, and a second rotation-urging means (not shown) for urging the hinge main body (5) to rotate to the terminal position. Installed between the telephone receiver case (3) and the hinge main body (5) are a third rotation-urging means (not shown) for urging the telephone receiver case (3) to rotate to a folded position, and a fourth rotation-urging means (not shown) for urging the telephone receiver case (3) to rotate to a speaking position. The rotation-urging force of the first rotation-urging means is made greater than that of the third rotation-urging means. The rotation-urging force of the fourth rotation-urging means is made greater than that of the second rotation-urging means.
