CASING STRUCTURE OF ACCUMULATOR FOR PREVENTING NOISES AND VIBRATION DUE TO DROP OF LIQUID REFRIGERANT

PURPOSE: A casing structure of an accumulator is provided to prevent a noise and vibration due to drop of liquid refrigerant by slowly running the liquid refrigerant down an inner inclined surface of a casing. CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical casing(110) has an inner containing space. A refrigerant inlet pipe(120) is combined with the upper part of the casing for moving heat-exchanged refrigerant into the casing. Refrigerant outlet pipes(130) are combined with a lower cover of the casing for discharging refrigerant gas to a compressor. A screen assembly(140) is fixed in association with an inner peripheral surface of the body of the casing for preventing liquid refrigerant flowed in through the refrigerant inlet pipe and impurities from being directly flowed out through the refrigerant outlet pipes. The casing has a sectional area becoming smaller from the upper part to the lower part to run liquid refrigerant flowed through the refrigerant inlet pipe down an inner wall surface.
