<p>A steam spout type cleaning device whose operability is improved by reducing the size and weight of the entire device with due consideration given to the way the entire device is arranged. When an operative switch (4) is on, a lifting shaft (34) is lowered against the urging force of a compression coil spring (38) and a check valve (33) opens the lower opening (31c) in an outer sleeve (31). Therefore, the steam sucked from a suction flow channel (2) associated with a suction nozzle (21) is liquefied on the inner peripheral surface of the outer sleeve (31), and is collected in a sewage tank (23) from the lower opening (31c) together with sucked water drops and softened and removed dirt. The sucked air, steam, sewage and dirt are centrifugally separated into the air and the others. Of the floating dust sucked into the suction flow channel (2) associated with a negative pressure generating section (25) together with air, the relatively large floating dust tending to clog the suction flow channel (2) is arrested by a catch filter (35), while relatively small floating dust is arrested by a fan filter (25c).</p> |
