PURPOSE: A belt clip device is provided to movably support and connect a specific sheath, adapted to receive an article, such as a rod, knife or gun, thereby achieving a comfortable wear of the belt. CONSTITUTION: The clip device mounted to a belt so as to be coupled to a specific sheath for receiving an article, such as a police rod comprises a plate(110) to be fixed to one side of the sheath and formed with first and second center protrusions(111,112), and a clip body to be attached to the belt and formed with first and second coupling holes(131,132) corresponding to the protrusions. The clip body has a latch(134), which is horizontally movable using its elasticity upon receiving a finger pushing force so as to prevent the separation of the first protrusion in a semi-opened state of the first coupling hole.
