PURPOSE:To enable the winding starting end of a wire to be automatically tied up without dismounting a coil from an automatic winding machine after a winding operation is finished by a method wherein an empty nozzle is provided in such a manner that it is set movable in three directions, and the winding starting end of a wire is tied up to a terminal of a terminal table wherein a core and a coil bobbin are combined together. CONSTITUTION:A coil bobbin 1 is rotated in a direction opposite to a winding direction by a drive toothed-wheel 10 to expel out a winding starting end 15 of wire from a wire keeping groove 4 provided to the coil bobbin 1, and an empty nozzle 17 is provided to house the expelled starting end 15 of wire. The empty nozzle 17 is set movable in three directions. The winding starting end 15 of wire is tied up to the terminal 8 of a terminal board 9 wherein a core and a coil bobbin 1 are combined. Or, a wire end band is provided in place of the empty nozzle 17 of an automatic winding machine. The wire end band is provided with a pair of pawls, and the winding starting end 15 of wire is pinched by the pawls. By this setup, a winding starting end of wire can be automatically tied up without dismounting a coil from an automatic winding machine after a winding operation is finished. |
