<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wippen for a grand piano in which both light weight and high rigidity are provided, good responsiveness and repeatedly hitting characteristics of piano actions are realized and sufficient volume is obtained. <P>SOLUTION: A wippen 1 is used in the grand piano in which a hammer 56 is rotated by the pushing up action of a pressed key 52 and the hammer 56 hits a string. The wippen 1 is provided with a main body section 2 which is extended in the front and the back directions and supported at a back tip part around a horizontal shaft line in a freely rotative manner, a heel section 3 which is projected to the bottom direction from a center section 8 of the main body section 2 and is pushed up by the key 52 and a recessed section 11 which is formed at least at the side surface of the main body section 2, extended in the front and the back directions and is deep in the center side and shallow in the outer side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
