PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for a large-sized sheet having a high conveying efficiency, with which many large-sized sheets can be conveyed one time without generating a smudge or a blemish on the large-sized sheet. SOLUTION: In the container for the large-sized sheet having a frame 11 and a plurality of shelf plates 12 arranged in the frame 11, leaving a space from each other wherein the large-sized sheet is placed in the lateral direction on the shelf plate 12 to be stored, a plurality of air jet holes 13b opening upward and an air conduit 14 communicating with the air jet hole 13b each and having an air introducing inlet 14d at a part, are formed on each shelf plate 12. Further more, an air receiving part 30 to receive air supplied from outside and a switching means 32 to send air introduced into the air receiving part 30 alternatively to one air conduit 14 of the plurality of shelf plates 12 via the air introducing inlet 14d, are provided.
