<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of information processing for objectively determining the main cause of stock price fluctuaion, and reporting it to a customer. <P>SOLUTION: It is determined that the main cause of fluctuation is related to a whole market when a stock price is moved up or down (fluctuation) by the same percentage, e.g., not less than 5%, in the same direction as in an A company, concerning 80% or more descriptions, for example. It is determined that the main cause of the fluctuation is related to the whole "industry" when there are not less than 80% companies belonging to the industry to which the A company belongs, where not less than 5% is moved in each description. When the rate of the companies with stock prices moved by not less than 5% in the same direction as the object description among the respective descriptions belonging to a theme to which the object description belongs is not less than a prescribed value, the main cause of a stock price gyration is determined to be related to the theme.
