PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actuate self-closing of a moving body with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The self-close actuator A1 is arranged between a frame body 17 having a first locking section 16 and the moving body 14 having a second locking section 15 and freely movable back and force in a longitudinal direction of the frame body 17. The self-close actuator A1 is attached to either the frame body 17 or the moving body 14 when used. The self-close actuator A1 comprises a spring 10 for storing an energy for moving the moving body 14 back by a forward movement of the moving body 14, damping mechanisms 1, 2, 3 for damping the backward movement of the moving body 14, and a lock member 12 fitted to the damping mechanism to switch between a state of engagement and a state of disengagement with/from the locking sections 15, 16 when the moving body 14 moves back and forth.
