PURPOSE: An RF(Radio Frequency) terminal, a transportation card system, and a method for setting operation data of the RF terminal are provided to easily set the operation data of the RF terminal by interfacing an operation data setting RF card to an RF antenna of the RF terminal. CONSTITUTION: An RF interface part(28) includes the RF antenna communicating with the RF card(80). A security module(29) confirms validity of the RF card. A memory(24) stores an update program, transaction particulars with the RF card, and an operation data table. The update program is initialized when a setting key is inputted, waits for the input of the operation data setting RF card at an operation data setting value input part, and updates the operation data table with the setting operation data read from the operation data setting RF card. A controller(22) operates the update program. A data I/O(Input/Output) part(26) inputs/outputs the transaction particular data stored in the memory. A keypad(32) enables an operator to perform an operation for controlling functions and settings.
