PURPOSE: An interactive voice recognition system and a method therefor are provided to store voice data corresponding to the predicted question of a user in a memory by a uniform scenario type, read the corresponding voice data from the memory according to a voice command of the user, and offer the read voice data to the user. CONSTITUTION: The first memory(10) stores voice data recorded by a scenario net structure. The second memory(20) stores voice data inputted by a user. A voice input device(30) converts a voice signal of the user inputted through a microphone into a digital voice signal, and outputs the digital voice signal. A voice processing device(40) recognizes the voice signal from the voice input device. If the recognized voice signal is a record command, the voice processing device stores the voice signal inputted from the voice input device in the second memory. If the recognized voice signal is a reproduction command, the voice processing device detects a scenario net number, and reads voice data recorded in the first memory or reads voice data recorded in the second memory by the detected scenario net number. A voice output device(50) converts the voice data read from the voice processing device into an analog voice signal, and outputs the analog voice signal through a speaker.
