PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toning support system for coatings to enable a toning person to conduct the toning of a target color simply and surely without needing much investment, and a toning method 7 of coatings. SOLUTION: The system provides the toning person with the toning information by processing the data on a coded coating formulation with a weighing apparatus equipped with an information input means, an information processing means, and a coating formulation displaying means and by displaying the coating formulation data on the coating formulation displaying means. The coding is based on bar code, the information input means is a bar code reading means, and the information processing means has a function of displaying on the coating formulation displaying means by processing the data on the coded coating formulation.
