PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fullerene composition for external use, stable and excellent in effectiveness. SOLUTION: This fullerene composition for external use is provided by containing at least 1 kind of the fullerene, a fullerene derivative, a fullerene inclusion compound or their salts, exhibiting pH 3-10, having≤0.1 % total concentration of a transition metal compound and stabilizing the composition by containing at least one kind of a preservation stabilizer, a nonionic surfactant, an ascorbic acid derivative and an ultraviolet-protecting agent.
