PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To express glare effect, using a CG technology, which is a change caused when a glare occurrence light source dynamically moves to go across an object with light-blocking effect, or when the object dynamically moves to go across the light source. SOLUTION: In drawing polygons on an interpolation circuit 10, a contrast value is calculated for each pixel on a light-reflecting arithmetic circuit 11, and when the value exceeds a certain value, a flag is set, and the value is stored in a memory 8 with the contrast value through a pixel cache 12. This flag and contrast value become objects to be subjected to hidden surface elimination by an image memory 14 and a depth buffer 15, and are read by an engine 9, when all the drawings are completed so that glare is generated on a glare circuit 16, depending on the flag and contrast value.
