PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw dehydrator capable of securing the prescribed water passing capacity and cleaning a screen part by means of a slit bored as a draining hole. SOLUTION: This screw dehydrator is constituted so that impurities introduced into a cylindrical casing 2 are pressurized and dehydrated by a screw 7 arranged in the casing 2 to be rotated. The screen part S is formed by boring many long hole-shaped slits 2S the direction of each of which is made oblique with respect to the direction of the impurities to be moved by the rotation of the screw 7 on the peripheral surface of the casing 2 so that sewage containing the impurities is allowed to flow into the casing 2 and the impurities are captured/removed.
