PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for gas measurements, which makes it hard to produce measurement errors or delayed responses in measurements being caused by absorptions or reactions of nitrogen oxides or sulfur oxides, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The filter for the gas measurements is made up so that its alkalinity is decreased by applying acid materials on alkaline materials existing on the surface of a filter element.
