PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high precision optical device with a holder capable of realizing the correction of the volume error of the raw material of an optical device. SOLUTION: In the optical device 1 with the holder constituted by housing the optical device 20 inside a tubular holder 10, a void part 12 is formed on the inner peripheral surface 11 of the holder 10 and an excess part 21a projecting outward from the peripheral part 21 of the optical device 20 is formed on the optical device 20.
