PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladder device for refuge allowing easy construction and capable of shifting from a non-use condition to a use condition securely and speedily. SOLUTION: This ladder device for refuge is composed of a movable longitudinal rod 2 connected with a one end part of a horizontal bar 3 whose other end part is connected with a reference longitudinal rod 1 and formed so as to move from a non-use position to a use position and a suspension pedestal 4 rotatable from storage attitude for regulating travel of the movable longitudinal rod 2 from the non-use position to the use position to deployment attitude for guiding and suspending the movable longitudinal rod 2 at the use position at the deployment attitude.
