PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically transmit a sender's position to a receiver for fast response without operating any buttons in communications using an emergency number. SOLUTION: A sender position information transmitting means 5 is provided which transmits the position information of a mobile telephone 1 to an emergency number 4 when a phone call is made from the mobile telephone 1 to the emergency number 4 of a police station and so on. That is, when a phone call is made from the mobile telephone 1 to the emergency number 4, the sender position information transmitting means 5 operates a GPS device 6 in response to a signal transmitted by a base station 2 to the GPS device 6. After the GPS device 6 determines the position information of the sender's mobile telephone 1 by computation, the determined position information is transmitted as sound data by a transmitting section 7 to the emergency number 4.
