PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural chopper for crushing wood such as tree branches into small pieces, which branches are obtained by trimming trees such as fruit trees. SOLUTION: The invention relates to an agricultural chopper having guide walls G disposed on the left and right edges of an inlet of an introduction chamber 4, in a manner such that when in plan view the guide walls project inclinedly and backwardly from the left and right internal walls 4a, 4a of the introduction chamber 4 towards the lateral center of the chamber. Equipped on the rear sides of such guide walls G on the left and right sides of the introduction chamber 4 are overhanging members S which have their external inclined surfaces s inclined backwardly towards the walls 4a, 4a of the introduction chamber 4 so as to be symmetrical when in plan view with wall surfaces g of the guide walls G. Specifically, the overhanging members S are attached at an inclined angle capable of producing component forces y toward the lateral center of the introduction chamber 4, from a forwarding force w received by the base end of a wood piece M in contact with the inclined face s.
