PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor installation/removal tool easily engaging with a sensor, being capable of generating sufficient transmission torque in installation/removal work, and hardly dropping during the work. SOLUTION: This sensor installation/removal tool 1 has a rod body 11, and a support body 12 of a rubber or a soft resin having an opening part 13 in the tip of the rod body 11. By fitting a bottom plate 32 in the lower end of a sensor body 22 firmly fixed to a ceiling 4 through a base part into the opening part 13, the sensor body 22 is detachably installed by the sensor installation/removal tool 1. In the sensor installation/removal tool 1, pressure contact parts 15 pressure-contacted with the peripheral end face of the bottom plate 32 are projectingly formed in opposite positions of the inner circumferential face of the opening part 13, and locking parts 14 hooked to a peripheral upper side of the bottom plate 32 are projectingly formed in the circumferential face between the pressure contact parts 15.
